Ah yes, the famous foot picture! A very good friend, a professional photographer named Athen Grey, was visiting from Dallas. The idea of photographing Stella under the blankets seemed like a natural (she loves to take naps, and always boroughs under the covers). Athen was told, "tell her to stay - she knows the stay command. Then, just before you click, ask her if she wants to go for a walk. She'll tilt her head, guaranteed." Well, it worked like a charm. The result was amazing, and really captures the Boston personality. The tagline, "a foot above the rest" isn't so much a brag as it is just a natural cut line for the photo.
